The beginnings of Bakpocket Products can be traced to the beautiful Northern California coast at Humboldt State University (HSU). This is where owners Bryan Burnam and Jacob Hanneman received Bachelors degrees in Outdoor Recreation. With the support of the HSU Recreation faculty and their peers, Bryan and Jacob used the opportunity of their senior project to create Bakpocket Products. Now residing in the majestic town of South Lake Tahoe the Bakpocket Team has found themselves in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Being in an area with three-season hiking and a thriving mountain sport scene, we have made our base in the perfect location for product innovation, development and testing.
When thinking of the future, Bakpocket Products strives to become one of the industries leaders in lightweight backpacking equipment. With new technology and a growing outdoors industry, we aim to continue designing superior products for the backcountry that are unmatched in quality and comfort.
