Hailing from the great Pacific Northwest, Chris Petersen aka Pacific Patterns, has taken the Portland dance music scene to a new level. Fusing modern electronic music culture with the beauty of nature, Chris aims to cultivate a journey of friendly sounds for his audience to enjoy.
Working with the Sublimate crew, Chris has released the first track on the label titled āCloudsā. This release caught the attention of many, procuring releases on āTenth Degreeā compilations, and Phuture Collectiveās āNatureā compilation.
As an official resident of both FAK Wednesdays and Booms and Claps, he can also be found frequenting stages of Sublimate, Verified, and Red Cube events in Portland. Pacific Patterns has shared the stage with bass music heavy hitters like Champagne Drip, VNDMG, 6BLOCC, DJ Spinn, Doshy, Eliot Lipp, Gladkill, Ethan Glass, Chase Manhattan, Intellitard, Stelouse, Snubluck, Eastghost, Gang$ign$ and Electric Mantis.
Heās currently focusing on expanding his horizons on the west coast and beyond. Keep an eye out for some big releases and collabs in 2016.
