Another returning feature at the festival by world-class installation artist, Michael Christian. Sphae is beautiful, playful, and interactive. This surreal, ever-changing sculpture is inspired by the genius of nature.
About the Creator
Michael Christian was born and raised in Texas. He attended University of Texas in Austin, where he received a BFA. He apprenticed with sculptor Luis Jimenez, and has lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area since the summer of ’95. He has been in his current studio Xian Productions for the past 11 years in Berkeley, California.
