Class Description
Experience a unique fusion of DJ’ed dance party with heart-first intentional movement practice. Psycache will lay down everything from dancehall, full spectrum EDM, oldschool pop and hip-hop favorites, and The Dance Commander will guide us in a swirling dance party where everyone feels like a BAD ASS. Glittered sweat is flung and endless amount of high-fives and smiles are shared. Everyone, we mean everyone, will leave feeling like their inner dance spirit animal is fully awake and ready to roar. Expect to booty pop and fist-pump your way into the most blissed-out dance floor hangover you’ve never known.
Instructor Bio
Celeste is dedicated to guiding her students through a heart-first transformation of obligations and suffering to empowered, fist-pumping, booty-shaking affirmation of the freest version of self. There is no one way to dance, and Celeste infuses her classes with a constant reinforcement that embracing your unique movement style is the absolute best way to find yourself and fall in love on the dance floor.
Celeste received her 200-hour yoga teacher training through the Nosara Yoga Institute and infuses her dance and yoga classes with the principles of self-awakening through full celebration of the body, mind, and spirit. Studying and performing genres of dance including classical ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, Brazilian samba, and West African for over twenty years, she truly has a style that is all her own. She has been teaching dance as a mindful exercise practice for over seven years now at multiple studios around her hometown of Boise, ID and is continually modifying her unique curriculum to focus on cardiovascular fitness, strength, and flexibility in the physical body as well as our self-image. You can also catch her as a regular guest performer with the Red Light Variety Show and acting as co-director of Yogafort, part of Treefort Music Festival.
Together with her DJ husband, Jesse Bolin aka Psycache, she has led several transformative workshop experiences that take the joy factor of a dance floor to infinite levels. Celeste is the Dance Commander, leading an energetic, positive vibe that cannot be paralleled.
